On the day that Mekentosj's Papers2 was expected (the countdown is zero at the moment but the application hasn't been released yet), Mendeley launches a very interesting initiative that certainly deserves to be buzzed: the Mendeley API Binary Battle!
The news has been immediately reported by the TNW blog as "Mendeley, the ‘Last.fm for academia’, holds $10,001 ‘Battle’ to boost its API".
I think this is a great opportunity for developers and Science in general and I truly hope the winner app will be a project related to medical sciences!
